Copyright Policy
Effective Date: 01.01.2026
Last Updated: 29.03.2026
If you believe that someone has posted your copyrighted work on Kalaman without authorization, please let us know. Copyright infringement is prohibited by our Terms of Service and Content Guidelines.
We aim to be practical and responsive in handling copyright complaints. In many cases, you may not need to send a formal legal notice if you can provide enough information for us to identify the work, verify your claim, and locate the allegedly infringing material.
1. Overview
Kalaman is an online service provider that allows users to publish, upload, store, and display user-generated content, including erotic fiction, comments, profile content, and other materials.
We do not review every submission before it appears on the site, and some areas of the service may contain user-generated content that is posted without pre-screening.
We respect copyright law and take infringement claims seriously. If you are the copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of a copyright owner, and you believe content has been posted on Kalaman without authorization, you should notify us so that we can review the claim and take appropriate action.
2. How to Report Copyright Infringement
To submit a copyright complaint, contact us at:
Copyright Contact: help@kalaman.co
Your notice should include:
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- the exact URL or URLs of the content you want reviewed or removed;
- your name and contact details;
- a statement that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate; and
- your electronic or physical signature.
If your complaint is incomplete, we may not be able to process it.
3. Informal Complaints
We are often able to address straightforward copyright complaints without requiring a formal statutory notice, provided that you give us enough information to:
- verify ownership or authority;
- identify the content at issue; and
- understand what action you are requesting.
If the issue is clear, we may remove or disable access to the material while we review the matter.
4. What Happens After You Submit a Notice
After receiving a copyright complaint, we may:
- acknowledge receipt of your notice;
- review the complaint for completeness and plausibility;
- remove, disable, or restrict access to the content;
- contact the uploader or account holder for additional information;
- request evidence of ownership or authority;
- reject notices that are clearly defective, abusive, fraudulent, or unsupported;
- suspend or terminate repeat infringers, where appropriate.
Where required by applicable law, including under the EU Digital Services Act, we may provide reasons for certain content moderation decisions and offer a way to contest qualifying decisions.
5. Counter-Notices
If your content was removed or disabled following a copyright complaint, and you believe the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification, you may contact us to submit a counter-notice.
Your counter-notice should include:
- identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal;
- your name and contact details;
- a statement explaining why you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- where applicable, any statements required by law for a formal counter-notice; and
- your electronic or physical signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may review it and, where appropriate and legally permitted, restore the material.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
We may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright or repeatedly submit unauthorized content.
We may also suspend or restrict users who repeatedly submit fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith infringement notices or counter-notices.
7. Misuse of This Process
You must not knowingly submit false, misleading, or abusive copyright notices.
Submitting false claims may expose you to legal liability. We reserve the right to reject notices that we believe are fraudulent, abusive, incomplete, or submitted in bad faith.
8. Public Disclosure of Notices
We may keep records of copyright complaints and related communications for legal, compliance, and recordkeeping purposes.
We may publish or share portions of a notice, with personal information redacted where appropriate, when reasonably necessary for transparency, legal compliance, or defense of legal claims.
9. No Legal Advice
This policy is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, you should consult a qualified lawyer.
